Natural Expressions: "I'm really into jazz."
The expression "to be into (something)" means that you really enjoy it, and are interested in it. In the negative ("not into ____") it means that you are not very interested in that thing.
Some examples:
"
I'm really into jazz guitar. Wes Montomery is one of my favorite guitarists."
"
I'm usually
not really into watching swimming, but I like to watch it in the Olympics."
Notice that when a verb follows "into" in this expression, it takes the -ing form:
"
I'm really into cooking."
So, what are some things you're really into?
