Nadeshiko 3 - 3 USA WNT ... in my home state Colorado!


Nadeshiko, the Japanese Women's National Soccer Team, came to a 3-3 draw with the United States Women's National Soccer Team on Thursday night in America, or this morning in Japan.

I wasn't able to watch the game because I had to work, but it looked from the highlights like it was pretty exciting. And the interesting part for me was that it was played at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado.

Colorado is my home state, and although I grew up in Boulder, so I call it my hometown, I went to high school in a suburb of Denver, and spent some time living there later, so I guess I'd call it my second hometown.

I've never been to this stadium, as it was built after I came to Japan. But it's home to the Colorado Rapids, Denver's Major League Soccer team, and many other concerts and events are held there as well.
