Tokyo Tower lit up purple to honor Prince (2016.04.22)
Most of us heard the very sad news late last night or this morning that the legendary musician Prince had died at age 57.
To honor Prince, Tokyo Tower is illuminated in purple lights tonight.
I had just turned 12 years old when Prince's crowning album Purple Rain was released in the summer of 1984, and his music was a big part of my childhood.
He was larger than life - a prolific songwriter, an unrivaled stage performer, and one of the greatest guitar players in rock music history.
The world lost him too soon, and he will be missed by millions.
